Potential Problems Caused by Impacted Wisdom Teeth

The Day of Your Surgery
The procedure is quick, typically lasting 30 to 60 minutes, with a total time in our office of about 90 minutes. We use modern monitoring and effective anesthesia options. Many patients choose to be sedated, which means they are unaware during the procedure. In most cases, we require a responsible adult to accompany you to the office and remain with you for the rest of the day to ensure a safe transition home.
What to Expect During Recovery
We are committed to a comfortable healing period and will provide you with pain management medications. You should expect some minor pain and swelling, which is best managed by consistently using ice packs throughout the first day. Most patients begin to feel significantly better and resume normal activities within 3 to 5 days.
