Director of Operations

Sarah Szymczak is the Director of Operations for the Center for Oral Surgery + Dental Implants. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of patient care. Her career began in clinical cardiology, providing valuable insight into high-level patient care operations, before she transitioned into management roles within Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery. Her move to oral surgery was a natural fit, as she is married to a general dentist and has deep familiarity with the field.

Sarah oversees all daily operations, working in close collaboration with the surgeons and managers to handle business administration, human resources, financial aspects, and strategic process improvement initiatives. Bringing a strong background in healthcare administration and a deep understanding of clinical practice, Sarah is dedicated to fostering an environment that supports both staff excellence and outstanding patient experiences.

A native of Walker, MI, Sarah is deeply connected to the Grand Rapids community. When she is not managing the practice, she spends her time with her husband and their three children, often enjoying the outdoors and their summers up north on the lake.
